About SaveViral

Learn what SaveViral does, how public media links are processed, and the principles that guide the service.

Last updated:

SaveViral is a web tool that helps people inspect media formats available from publicly accessible links and, when a source makes a format available, choose a file to save.

What the service does

You submit a public media URL. SaveViral sends that URL to its backend and may use an extractor or the relevant source provider to identify media information and available formats. Results depend on what the source makes available at that moment.

SaveViral does not host or control third-party platforms. A source may change, expire a media URL, require authentication, restrict access, or stop a request, so extraction and download availability are not guaranteed.

Responsible use

The service is intended for content you own, content you are authorized to use, or content that applicable law permits you to access and save. SaveViral is not designed to bypass private access controls, protected content, or digital rights management.

How we approach the product

  • Clear guidance about supported workflows and practical limitations.
  • A lightweight bilingual experience in English and Indonesian.
  • Respect for creators, platform rules, intellectual property, and user privacy.
  • No account required for the standard link-processing workflow.
